
1. Women play a significant role in both the improvement and decline of the society. However, while there is a lack of advanced religious education among men, it is almost entirely absent among women. To address this gap, Jamea Tuz-Zahra was established on 20th Jamadi-us-Sani 1410 AH. The institution was constructed on a 7,500 sq. ft. plot, with a three-story building.
2. The academic activities began on 20th Jamadi-us-Sani 1415 AH, and currently, 85 students are enrolled.
3. The institution offers six academic levels whci are oola, saniya, salesa, rabea, aalema and muballigha.
4. Through Jamea, various fields of religious service for women in the community have been established. Both graduates and current students are frequently invited to deliver lectures and majalis.
5. With their support, training camps are also organized to further develop their skills and commitment to community service.
6. Their services are being expanded through teaching opportunities at Madrasa Khadeejatul Kubra and online makatib where they contribute significantly.
7. There are a total of 12 teachers, most of whom are educated in Qom and contributing their expertise to the institution’s mission.
Distinctive Features of Jamea Tuz-Zahra
1. In addition to other religious regulations, complete adherence to hijab is strictly maintained.
2. Among relatives, only mahram (close family members) are allowed to meet with students. For these individuals, a designated meeting card, authorized by the incharge, is issued.
3. The building houses a library with a collection of 4,000 books in Arabic, Persian, Urdu, English, and Hindi, covering various subjects.
4. Along with Baitus Salat (prayer hall), recreational facilities such as swings, indoor games and play areas have been provided for students.
5. Curriculum: In addition to Fiqh, Ahkam, Usool-e-Fiqh, Tafseer, History (Tareekh), Seerah (Biography), Aqeedah, Logic (Mantiq), Philosophy (Falsafa), Hadith and Usool-e-Hadith, Ethics, and modern languages, students are also taught essential household skills (cooking, sewing, embroidery, knitting, etc.). The program emphasizes preparing students to lead life in light of Islamic teachings.
